1. Terms of Payment

 

All classes and/or events at MWA are to be paid in full before the begin of the class/event. Services can be paid online using a credit card, bank transfer or Paypal. Completed payments will not be reimbursed.

 

Payment via invoice is only available in exceptional circumstances and must be personally requested. Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the date of invoice. In the case of a failure of payment, MWA reserves the right to cancel the membership.

2. Subscriptions

 

All MWA subscriptions are irredeemable, personal and non-transferable.

​

2.1 Duration

​

The duration of a MWA subscription is binding. The duration validity of all subscriptions can be found on the MWA website. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform themselves about the valid duration of their membership. Paid for and not used or incomplete use of a membership will expire after their validity period. MWA denies all claims for reimbursement.

2.2 Subscription validity period in case of illness or accident.

​

In the case of illness or accident, current subscriptions can be extended for a maximum of four weeks. A request for membership extension must be sent in written form via letter mail or e-mail (infi@meditatewithalex.com) no later than 7 days after the occurrence. A copy of the medical form is to be presented. Membership extension requests after 7 days of the occurrence will not be considered. MWA denies all claims for reimbursement.

2.3 Vacation and/or business related absences

​

In the case of long term absences, selected subscriptions have the option to be extended:

​

  • 3-month subscription: 10 days extension

  • Annual subscription: 30 days extension

 

The validation period of all other subscriptions cannot be extended.

3. Registration and Cancelations

​

Registration for all MWA classes/events are binding. Free of charge cancelations must be made within the following deadlines:

​

  • Regular class, workshops & events: 24 hours before

  • Private Lesson: 48 hours before the appointment

  • Retreats: 2 months before start

 

MWA reserves the right to invoice customers the full amount of the participation cost in the case of non-arrival and/or not abiding to the cancelation deadlines.

​

4. Changes to scheduling, offers, prices and opening hours

​

MWA reserves the right to make changes to the schedule of classes/events, pricing, and opening hours at any time. MWA denies all claims for reimbursement. Any above mentioned changes will be communicated to customers via e-mail, through social media and/or on the MWA website.

​

5. Data Protection

​

Every visitor is required to register before their first event/class. With their registration the visitor confirms their knowledge, understanding and acceptance of the MWA General Business Terms and Conditions. All MWA visitors personal information will be saved in our customer relationship management system from Wix, be treated with utmost confidentiality and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties. To delete personal information out of Wix, a written request must be sent to info@meditatewithalex.ch.

E-mail addresses will be used, if the customer has check marked the box in Wix to send automated information (e.g. a reminder before the membership runs out) and for the receipt of the Newsletter. To stop receiving Newsletters, the «Unsubscribe» button must be clicked in a previously received newsletter.

​

Occasionally e-mail and/or mail addresses will be used to send the customer relevant information and offers. Occasionally pictures and/or video will be taken during a MWA class or event. In this instance visitors will be informed ahead of time and have the option to inform MWA if they do not wish to be photographed or filmed. The photo and video material will be used for MWA marketing purposes. Please be aware of the Privacy Policy from MWA.

6. Liability

​

Every MWA visitor is responsible for their own care, health and wellbeing during and after all MWA events/classes in any premises/locations. Any physical and/or mental complaints, also pregnancy, must be indicated to the teacher before the event/class. MWA denies all liability for injury and/or accident in any premises/locations. MWA denies all liability for follow-up and/or re-occurring injury and/or damage. Every MWA visitor is responsible for their own insurance.

MWA denies all liability for loss and/or damages of personal valuables and/or property brought to the studio. Every MWA visitor accepts full liability for their own personal property and valuables. Valuables can be taken into the class/event room during the class/event. Cellular telephones must be turned off or in silent mode.

​

7. MWA Shop

​

MWA denies all warranty and/or guarantee for products that are bought at WMA. In the case of defect or damaged articles, the customer must contact and send their claims directly to the product provider.

​

8. House Rules & Covid-19 Measures

​

Specific House Rules & Precautionary Measures are in effect due to Covid-19. Please find the latest version here.

​

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

 

Applicable law is Swiss law. Jurisdiction is Lucerne.
